Learn Code, Teach Code

During the second Hour of Code series, we learned about Code.org. Code.org not only provides online coding lessons but also curriculum to teach coding. Code.org is a non-profit organization which promotes computer science.

Code.org allows teachers to set up a class and assign certain courses to students based on age and ability. Teachers can then use the Code.org teacher dashboard to track student progress.

If you would like to learn more, join us for Part 3 of 5: Coding with Tablets/iPads on September 30, 2015 at Douglass High School in Room E139 from 4-5 pm.

You can also learn about Code.org on your own time using Atomic Learning. Just use your OKCPS login and password to view the videos.
