Not only do they contain the “wow” factor, they can be tied directly to multiple subject areas as the vehicle for instruction. While this is something to spark the interest of your students for recreation, it could ultimately lead to an exciting career in a variety of industries! If you do not currently have an active Donors Choose posted, this would be a great project to fund as each drone is priced at $99. While the drone itself is great, the activity is what matters. Drone Blocks has built an intuitive coding app to work directly with Tello and Google Chromebooks! This curriculum is complete with training videos on how to use the app and additional courses on how to teach with Drones.
